How to root?

It's a good Sense 3.5 ROM, and extremely popular. Some people have reported it getting a little wonky on them over time, but I didn't have that experience. It has plenty of customizations and with some overclocking, it has very little lag.

Good to know. I think we might have a winner for my first attempt haha. The info I found on it came w/ some good tutorials and other things seemingly from the dev team.

First things first though, when I get home, I have to get the rooting process done first and then I think it'll be time to give this a shot and see what happens.

I'm new to this and had a question about rooting obviously.

So I read that before you root you have to unmount your sd card. Is that true? If so, why is that?
Also, I was wondering if you would mound your sd card back after you have rooted your phone or leave it as is.

The only thing that could be considered unmounting the sdcard would be putting the phone in charge only mode (required so the tool can access the sd directly)
