LOL! I have no idea what you guys are talking about... but yeah... that will do.![]()
You never saw the movie Babe?
The Pig
When the Pig did the whole herding of the sheep the Farmer was proud and said "That will do pig..."
You will tend to see me Reference a lot of movies...![]()
It's not completely necessary...but to flash certain roms you will need it unlocked. I suggest doing Simple Root instead of unrevoked3, because SR gives you this. From this point you can either just do Simple Root or you use Unrevoked Forever...which just FYI there is no current way to undo, so you may be unrevoked FOREVER! If you don't have a problem with this and don't care that you may have to return it to the store one day, and may not get it under warranty or worse yet they send you a $500 bill! This is hypothetical, but still can't undo the Forever method yet.
Nah The Farmer Said it...![]()
got a so n00b question here. After i downgrade to 2.1, which one i should pick for root, simple root or UNREVOKED-forever? I mean, after seeing a few thread, i am not quite for UnREVOked, what did you guy use there?
personally i used simple root. But please read through the original method i also linked, just so you have an understanding of whats going on behind the scenes.
i tried to follow but couldn't. i need help. i dont understand some of the terms like shell, and i got lost after step 5
There is a way to undo unrevoked forever, search around XDA, its there. I still have issues using it though.
I know it sounds kinda stupid, but, before anything started, should I "format/reset" my phone (just remember that's one step for root 2.1 back then) and format my sdcard?
i still get an main version is older. update failed error. help!!!!
