How to save picture from Facebook?

There are many options to share a picture from Facebook, but I can not find easy way just to save picture in Galery...

I dont think you can , I think this is an issue with the app more so then the phone because i could never do so on any phone i had using the app (which iam assuming your referring to) You could take a screen shot though and crop the image to remove the notification bar ??

A work around I use works if you have Dropbox. Click on the picture and hit menu button and hit share. Scroll down to dropbox and it downloads the picture into drop box. From there you can save it to your gallery.

I do the same...but why there is not an option "save image"...In iOS this option exists...

Try using a replacement app for the official facebook one. It'll have the save to phone option.

So glad you pointed this out. It's been driving me crazy! My GF can save on her iPhone, and I could save them when I had a BlackBerry. BlackBerry worked fine, but Android doesn't? I was shocked! I really hope that an update comes that allows saving from Facebook. It's pretty embarrassing when I had to have her save a photo from FB and text it to me. The shame!

Screen shot, works for me, then edit using internal photo editor (crop). Great work around until they get it updated.

I would still suggest any replacement app cause in that you'll also get additional features like filtering your news feed, posting to twitter and Facebook at the same time, etc...
Just try out the free versions and decide for yourself.

I had a feeling this was a no go from the official app. I've hated this on my tablet for a long time to be honest, but figured it was something I was doing wrong.

Install>find a picture>Menu>Share>Send to sd>Pick directory>copy here(or move here)

Only thing better would be if Facebook would add the option natively, I dont get why it isnt.

A quick remedy of the issue is to Just share as ---> Gmail ---> send it to your own email address and get the email with attachment. Now download the attachment via DOWNLOAD button at the bottom ...

That way no extra software is needed....

I hate having to email a pic to myself then save.. Why go through that mess.. I just installed Facebook photo downloader from play store then your in business
