How to search a location and use turn by turn navigation in Google offline maps

I am looking foward to use google offline maps for my navigation purposes. I have saved desired portion of maps to use without wifi (on the go). However, I am unable to use search and navigation functions on offline maps. I have tried to find solution on maps help and google in general but I couldn't find any. So I am initiating a thread to find the solution.

Here are the screenshots of offline google maps from my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 ed):

Google map works without WIFI

But, when I click on search bar it gives me an error shown in the screenshot below:

Also, I do not find settings to enable search and turn by turn navigation function in offline mode

Yup, Offline Navigation is NOT available on Google Maps or Google Navigation. You should be able to search for a specific location and get turn-by-turn directions, however. It's just Voice-guided Navigation that won't work.
