How to set a fingerprint unlock for LG G6 Thin Q

I previously had a fingerprint scan registered on my LG G6 but had to remove it when I sent it to have a problem fixed. Now that I am trying to set my fingerprint to unlock the phone, there is no option in my Security settings to lock via fingerprints.
I have been through every single option in this tab from facial recognition to the Privacy Tab.
After checking online there is supposed to be a tab labelled Fingerprints & Security but mine is labelled Lock Screen & Security with no options for Fingerprints.
Trying not to resort to a factory reset but seems like that is the only option


Edit: When I said I have been through every option available in the tab I also meant Biometrics, only thing I have there is Facial Recognition

That's where our G6 & V30 has it
