How to specify / change the browser

I have two, the stock and opera. l prefer opera, but it doesn't do flash and there are other issues. Stock browser just doesn't feel like a browser from a company that has chrome. If I use the search it defaults to opera. The only way I got to use the stock was by a force close. There's got to be a better way.

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, click on Opera and then Clear Defaults. Then it will prompt you when you click on links for which browser to use, stock or opera.

Dolphin Browser is a good option too, you can easily set the user agent to display Desktop view of websites. I switch between the 3 but Dolphin is my main.
