how to starting micros card for storige on my lg v20

I just added a micros card to my lg v20 and like to know how to use it when i want to store video games or photos on it instead on my internal storage

The micro SD card is great for storing your media files: photos, movies, music, documents. Use a file browser app to COPY the files to the SD card, restart the phone, verify that the files work on the SD card, delete the old files from internal storage.

Leave the apps and games on the internal storage, this is where they are best.

Check your settings for your camera app. Some apps will let you set the save folder to the SD card.

Check the settings in apps that use lots of data space (maps, GPS, etc). Some let you pick the SD card for the data storage.

thanks,great help!Can I leave the card in the phone even if I don't use it too often?I can select Ejected in the software and don't physically remove it from the phone?Does this disable the card?And Mount it again when I want to store something on the card?

You could do that, but it does not buy you anything.
There is no reason to not leave the card active in the phone.
