How to stop emails delete on server

I've just bought/contract a s7 and I've added my emails but i cannot find anywhere that i can set to delete emails only on my phone and not on my actual email server. As everything is auto set up i cannot seem to find this option. Help please

I think it is not possible with android. I can do that with my blackberry but not with my SG7

Set the account to IMAP. Set the email app to IMAP if it doesn't set up that way. (You'll have to delete it and set it up again.) Now deleting emails only deletes then on your phone. (That's the main difference between IMAP and POP3.)
