I'm on a Nexus 5 with the latest version of the gmail app and running 6.0. I'm running out of space and I noticed that the Gmail app uses 2.5GB of disk space. I'm trying to clean it up, but it's not working much. I'm deleting a lot of useless email from my Gmail account, but what really bothers me is that I've only asked to sync 7 days of emails.
Furthermore, when I look at the data use of my gmail account on the web, it 2.5 GB. So it looks like *all* of the email from my gmail account is on my phone. How do I fix that?
