[How to stop phone] dialer opening when I unlock phone

[Android Central Question]

HI, I'm using galaxy s9. Latest android version. Each time I unlock my phone the phone dail pad opens automatically. I'd rather just go directly to the home screen so I can access my apps etc. Tuth is I never really use the phone dialer anymore and it's just SO annoying to have to close it every time I unlock the phone. How can I stop this happening?

Your not dragging the icon at the bottom before you unlock the phone?
