...how to stop S5 active from trying to send failed emails...

I recently tried to send a couple of emails with pictures that evidently were too large to send indicating failure to send message. Now every time I start up, the phone tries to resend them and indicares failure. I can't even FIND the messages to delete them. Anyone have info on how to deal with this ? I have also hard booted the phone to no avail...

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.
In the stock email app, you can go to settings - show all folders - select outbox - tick and delete.

I did what was suggested by Madd, however opened outbox and it's empty.....

Do you have the one email account and do you use the 'Gmail' app or the stock Samsung 'Email' client app?
The above post was for the 'Email' app.
I could be misunderstanding the problem.

Have you tried clearing data for the app in question?
