Does anyone know how to take FB pictures out of your HTC one gallery? I'm tired of looking at them every time I go to my gallery, it's annoying.I'm basically lookin for a way to disable all FB pics from showing up in the gallery.

Agree with you. The only way so far is to log out, which also logs you out of facebook on the app.

There is a way. Go to gallery. On the top right click on, "Add Online Service." Then click on Facebook. Click on the top right again and click "Remove." That should do it.

P.S I only made an account on this website only after seeing your post. HTC One users unite!

Hmmm, I got what the previous poster was saying. It DOES log you out of your FB acct. Weird. Sorry...jumped the gun there....

Anyone know how to have downloaded images from the internet show up in your gallery by any chance? Sorry to hi-jack.

Or just get the quickpic app and use that to view just your own pics.

i used to use quickpic exclusively with my other android phones but its not as useful with the HTC one. the way zoes are stored makes it extremely difficult to look at pictures. i have close to 4000 photos since it saves 20 per zoe.

Basically.. When I try to upload pictures, I get the same thing.

You can disable them but you have to disable them from your BlinkFeed too. You can't have them in both places. I believe if you go into BlinkFeed Settings, you'll have the option to remove Facebook, and that will also disable them from your Gallery. Stupid, but there ya go.

This is incorrect in my experience. The only way I have found to get them off and keep them off is to remove from gallery, and do not use the facebook app.

Once you remove from gallery, you are signed out of the facebook app. If you open the app, it will make you sign in. Once you sign in, the photos show up in the gallery again.

You can just use facebook from the browser which is much the same as the app.

The one downside is that you lose the share to facebook option from the gallery and other apps - although you can still share from the browser.

To remove FB photos from gallery go to
App drawer
Gallery
Click on my photos
Click the menu button - top right (3 dots)
Click show/hide albums
Uncheck FB and whatever else you don't want to see

You must have photos in the download folder to turn that folder on/off

**The tab at the top of some gallery windows is a drop-down menu (events, albums and location)

That doesn't work - it only prevents the folders appearing in "my photos", however the FB photos are still visible in "Gallery" right when you open it.

Sorry it didn't work :(

I don't have FB integration so I'm just guessing here but, what if you found the folder containing the FB photos (using ES File Explorer or the likes) and put a period in front of the folder name. Would that stop them from showing?

This way works if you are rooted. With Titanium Backup, freeze fb-htc sense. It works. You also loose fb in Blink feed.

All you have to do is go into the gallery hit the options or(the 3 dots) and select "add online service". Once you've don't that select Facebook, and hit the 3 dots it'll ask if you want to remove account hit yes, and bam! No more Facebook pics in your gallery and you're also not logged out of your Facebook.

The only way I've been able to do it is to log out of Facebook on everything. I use Chrome to get into Facebook now, but I don't have other people's food pics in my gallery.

If you aren't rooted, you can simply disable Facebook for HTC Sense, Dropbox for HTC Sense, Picasa for HTC Sense and Twitter for HTC Sense, and this won't plague you like before.

Actually 2 things -

1) The 4.2.2 upgrade (whenever we get it) supposedly fixes this issue.

2) It has been found that you CAN get the FB pics out of the gallery while maintaining FB app functionality.

To do this you have diable facebook in the app manager, then break the link in the gallery app, then re-enable facebook in the app manager.

There's one more work-around, which works perfect for me:

Log into FB
Do not logout of FB and Go to > Settings > Apps > Facebook
Click Force Stop and then click Disable
Wait for 10 secs and click on ENABLE.
Now to go Gallery and check the Photos will vanish :)

Njoy.... :)

Hit THANKS if it helped :P
