How to tell if Nexus has ATT or Tmobile bands?

I am considering purchasing a used Nexus and want to be sure to get the ATT version. If I check out a phone, is there a way to verify what bands it uses from a label or something in software? Thank you

I think I found an answer after a little more searching...

"if your phone is PB99110 (check underneath battery) then it is AT&T model with 850 MHz 3G freq"

AT&T's 3G bands are 850/1900/2100 MHz and T-Mobile's are 900/AWS/2100 MHz.

AT&T's 3G bands are 850/1900.

T-mobile USA is 1700mhz.
