Copied from XDA:
I am not fond of starting new threads with similar content but other root topics do not clearly say "Temp Root" which is all we have for now.
Anyway, I have been hunting around and experimenting with various temp root packages and found one I liked and it seems to work well. It was created by DoomLord. He and zergRush get all the credit. I just altered and updated it for the Rezound.
Updated and Working:
Latest zergRush
Latest adb
Latest Superuser and su binary is installed if not already installed
Latest busybox
Instructions:
Create a folder called Rezound-Root or whatever you want
Extract the bat and files folder in the attached zip file to the folder you created
Open folder (do not rename files folder
Connect phone in Charge or HTC Sync
Double click DoomLords-RunMe.bat
When it's done, do not re-boot
Mount SD Card in Settings > SD and phone storage
Have fun.
NOTE: If you lose root reboot first then reapply.
EDIT: I'd just like to note that I take no credit for this work, this was all done by the good folks over at XDA.
