Genaro15243, thanks for confirming. This is what I'm doing now then:
1. Use GB built-in tethering to do 3G tethering via USB and hotspot (infrastructure mode)
2. Use Wifi tether 2.0 version to do 4G tethering hotspot (ad hoc) in those situations when I have it and need it.
Kind of a kludge, but works for me
