What do you mean by "application backlinks"?
What kind of tracing are you looking for?

When I search for "app backlink," everything I find is about SEO (search engine optimization). The SEO posts we see on this forum are often spam, so I'm not sure if we'll allow further posting about it. I will ask the Mod team what they think. Will close this thread for now.

Trace your application baklinks

I am not so good in English so please ignore my grammatical mistakes.

One day I was making a regular search then I see the word "Backlink" in terms of SEO when I see backlink defination in simple words it was just like a link on the backside. if anyone knows about seo he/she can properly answer and define backlinks.
After this defination a very simple question raised into my mind and that was is there are backlinks on my application? if yes then how can I trace them so, about a week ago I have posted a thread to find answer to this my simple question that was "HOW TO TRACE APPLICATION BACKLINKS". Here, I did not get a proper answer or even no one answered me and my thread was closed with this message that it is spam.
After this, I make a deep search on this topic and now I have an answer to this question. I can check the number of backlinks on my application. I did not stop my search here I trace these backlinks and now I can trace all the backlink sources.
If someone like to trace his/her application backlinks then use this simple google extension named as "Backlink Metrics for ASO" it will show no ap backlinks on google play
it looks like this.
i remove its icon and name so no one can say it is a spam

I am also searching for the impact of backlinks on the application in the next coming days I will make a brief discussion on this topic.

Re: Trace your application baklinks

A backlink is a link on a website to your website. Unless you have a website for your app, backlinks have nothing to do with your app.

From moz.com:

"Backlinks to your website are a signal to search engines that others vouch for your content. If many sites link to the same webpage or website, search engines can infer that content is worth linking to"

Apps themselves don't have, or give, backlinks.

Re: Trace your application baklinks

I trace my application backlinks and i was surprised to see that about 3 thousand visitors visit my application and maximum 2 thousand people download my app in 15 days.
so, i think backlinks are important and it is my thinking that backlinks are also included in ranking factors.

You're right. However, if we can build a lot of backlinks for our apps then the visitors could see and know the apps. In summary, if we have more quality backlinks, we will increase the visitor's amount.
