How to turn GPS on & off

How do you do it? How do you tell if it is on or off?

There is a widget that allows you to turn off various things. It's on that widget.

Install the power widget. It lets you toggle GPS, wifi, bluetooth, and data, as well as changing display brightness. Or you can go into Settings/Location Services to turn GPS on and off.
