How to turn off background app refresh on Realme device

Hello! I have a Realme phone. Every time I toggle to a new app, the other apps automatically refresh, causing me to lose whatever I was working on on the other apps. It's extremely annoying and frustrating. Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening? Thanks in anticipation.

You should be able to lock recent apps from ram clearing out
