I know I'm not supposed to talk about politics but I'm sure everyone (in the USA) got the "presidential alerts" on their phones.. I won't further discuss the politics part. As John McAfee tweeted, the president can access the E911 chip on your phone and have full access to your camera, location, microphone, and everything on it. I think (but not entirely sure) you can turn off the E991 chip. There's an app installed on the phone called "Emergency Alerts".. you cannot disable it by default. However, if you use 'LG Package Disabler Pro' (available on the Play Store), you can disable it. Alternatively, you can use ADB commands to remove it too. I won't get into further details why you would want to do this (not trying to mention politics) but I feel like there could be an invasion of our privacy.. I don't need emergency alerts, if there's an emergency, I'll dial 911 myself.
