How to Turn off LTE?

Is there a way to turn off LTE? It seems like as soon as I get in a LTE area it sucks the life out of my battery, had the same issue with my last phone to, 4g it's fast enough for me is it saves battery life.

Oh wait..you're on AT&T. I was going to say...4G is LTE...on VZ that is.

Ya, where I live att is just 4g, when I go into the bigger city it is LTE and my battery drains much faster but I don't see An option to turn off just the LTE, maybe it isn't possible.

As far as I know, working for AT&T and everything, 4G is LTE. You can't turn that off unless you want a lower frequency like Edge.

Plus, I have NEVER heard of LTE draining your battery more than 4G. It would be all or nothing.

I know on the old droids, you can turn off 4g and only run 3g. I've always thought 4g is LTE and it seems so with everyone else as well.

Download LTE ON/OFF which will give you easy access to the network menu.

No there is 4g LTE and 4g HSPA (which is basically 3g with a better backhaul).

@dudethatserin - see below. I am on T-Mobile but AT&T is the same. First is 4g LTE... Next is just 4g HSPA.
