How to turn off sound of iPod broadcast?

I close the iPod program but the sound continues. The most recently opened apps folder is empty. The same happens with three different iPod apps.

My solution has been to turn of my S6 and reboot.

What do you mean by iPod program? Are you talking about podcast player apps? Or the Music apps? Most media players will continue to play whatever you started playing if you go back to the homescreen, because these apps continue to run as a background service (allowing you to continue listening to music while you do other things). You have to tap the Stop or Pause button on the player first, then exit out of the app.
