How to turn off vibration when unlocking screen? Jellybean

I turned it off for everything else but i cant find anything that removes it from lock screen when unlocking to galaxy nexus

Go into settings-security, and uncheck vibrate on touch.

I turned off (vibrate on touch) my device doesn't have (vibrate on sound) under sounds it only has vibrate when ringing and vibrate on touch

Sorry, typo on my part. I meant vibrate on touch, there is no vibrate on sound.
So you have it right.
Again, make sure vibrate on sound is unchecked under security and that should stop the Nexus from vibrating when you unlock it.

That should have stopped it.
Make sure you are in the Security section under Settings, and you unchecked Vibrate on Touch (see attached).

That option isn't available for the standard lock screen, though.

agreed that you can't. However, the more I use it the more I like the haptic feedback in the slide lock mode especially if I'm not looking at my phone while I'm unlocking it.

I use a PIN, and you can turn it off for a PIN lock. I don't know why, but haptic feedback bothers me somehow.

There are mods available to disable it. I'm sure one could probably figure out how to edit it themselves as well, with a little know how.
