How to turn on Samsung Galaxy S GT I9000 without using power button

Hey guys! I got my Samsung Galaxy S GT I9000 working after getting all wet (falling into the toilet) and it finally turned on. HOWEVER, after a day, the power button stopped working and after some time my phone turned off, didn't manage to keep it turned on all the time. So, now I am pretty much stuck at this, lol. I can't really find a way to turn my phone on. I tried connecting it to a usb cable and taking out and putting in the battery quickly as soon as I see the charging sign, but it doesn't work for my Galaxy S. Hmmm... Anyone knows any other trick on how to turn on this phone? :/ Please help!
