How to undo choice

I accidentally associated a file type with a program, now when I try to open the same file type with a different program I no longer get the chance to choose.

Can someone tell me how to disassociate file types.

1. Settings-->Apps
2. Find the app that is already associated with the file type and select it.
3. In the 'Launch by default' section, press the 'Clear Defaults' button.
