How to uninstall split screen?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" Tablet and want to uninstall the split screen operation, I have no use for this function as I prefer to use tabs and I am getting frustrated with many functions springing to life uninvited, the split screen being the most disruptive.
I have never used a tablet or used anything other than Windows on PC's and laptops
before yesterday.
If anyone can help me I will include you in my lifetimes prayers, whatever you might be looking for, girls, lottery jackpots, real life friends etc I don't judge, you request it and I will get right on to the kneeling.

Anything needed from this end just let me know. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to Android Central. You can't uninstall it. If you've only been using the tab for a day I'd suggest you give it more time, but if not, you could buy a disabler app from the Play store and do it that way. I would also think you could disable it in settings.

Hello, PJRed and thank you for the welcome. I appreciate your suggestion I give it more time and I am happy to spend as long as it takes to become familiar with Android(s) However :) this screen splitting is forcing me to use the device lengthways which then hides a good part of each page. I opted for a tablet because I find phones are not really fit for much more than making calls.
I realise I may sound like an international moaner but I honestly am not, I am not allowed to get into details but I was once voted most chilled hostage 2 years running among my fellow captures some time ago, I would have made it a hat trick but we were released a month short of our 3rd anniversary. I'll admit I did moan a bit there, but wouldn't you getting so close.

Right, so I have searched the settings to disable the splitter without luck, I will now track down this disabling device you mention. I am tempted to say it seems odd to include everything as standard rather than selecting any app one might need and conserving the small amount of space that comes as standard, but I won't. That way I won't need to comment on the highway shafting of charging to disable something you never wanted or requested, I am becoming very sympathetic to anyone who gets a weekly visit from his local hood for protection money, I am quite serious in saying I see little difference except the hoods at least have the front to face you in person, the other way is a modern Richard Turpin approach with an inbuilt mask.

Again, thank you, PJR, I am grateful to you and especially the disabler idea.

I think the Android Gods just gave me a break, or they are building up to something later? Before anyone states the obvious, I did search on this very forum for some time yesterday, a minute is "some time" isn't it?
This appears to work well and at no cost incredibly. Many thanks to user jexx for the solusion I used, Robby Rob appears to show another too but I didn't know how to navigate to Robbys using only a pic.
Finally, I am once more amazed that Samsung hadn't claimed Robby Robb for themselves, sorry Samsung, I couldn't resist.

Thank you PJR, that is very kind of you. I am afraid I needed a mobile device in a mad hurry, my own broadband connection is broken and can't be sorted for some time and has coincided with a family problem in my home country.
I was fortunate in having a data contract in place and just needed a home for the sim asap, so the Samsung device was bought out of necessity really. It didn't have any sort of manual and as you have seen I have been feeling my way in with help from good people such as yourself.

I haven't had much luck searching the device itself but I am certain this is my own inability to navigate through Android/Samsung. I have downloaded the attachment and that looks perfect, thanks again.
I will get there eventually, I am finding it much faster now I have killed the split screen and stopped the rotating, that was more than doubling the time spent doing anything, learning how to hold the tablet without triggering something has also helped some.

OK, enough of my ramble, enjoy the rest of your weekend.
