Welcome to Android Central! If you fail to unlock enough times, does it ask for your Google credentials?

In the future, if you're prone to forgetting important information like your phone's password, consider writing it down on a piece of paper and keeping it somewhere secure at home, like a safe.

I have a Note 5 and due to Verizon's updates...it locked itself and will not unlock...under any circumstances. Tried going online and changing pin, on phone with Verizon and Samsung and no one has a clue. If I do a hard reset...how do I get everything back on?
