How to use rsap with nexus 6p

Hi does anyone know how to use rsap connection with the Nexus 6p some sites say you have to root your phone others say it comes standard. I have no idea how to access it and use it with my Audi. Do you need to root your phone or does the 6p enable you to use this feature with stock Android. If anybody knows can the please explain how I do this

Welcome to the forums. You are trying to use your phone via your car Bluetooth hands free? That should be standard.

Thanks for your response. No this is a Sim access from your phone which allows your data connection from your phone possible through your cars media interface. Allows you to create a hotspot in your car for other passengers also. The car usually comes with a Sim Port in the dash but my car doesn't and needs an rsap phone connection this is what I'm trying to find

I didn't look much onto rsap, but all I recall finding was along the lines of the car reading calls to use it hands free.
