How to use S7 as TV remote control?

saw/lost TV remote app on my S7. Want to find again and install. Where is it?

The S7 doesn't have an IR blaster which is why Peel is not on the device. If you have a smart tv there should be an app to control the TV over a wifi network.

If you have DirectTV, then you can use the app that is preinstalled on the S7/S7E.

Comcast also has a remote app, if you have their X1 platform.

Try Samsung Smart View app in the the play store. It may be a workaround for you.

You are right, but somehow the Peel Remote app works fine on my S6, but not S7. Weird.

Try Samsung Smart View app in the the play store. It may be a workaround for you.

Unfortunately, Samsung Smart View doesn't work either on my S7, as well as the Peel Remote app. See attached pics. Oh well...

If you feel like throwing some money at it you could buy a Logitech Harmony hub-based remote which will control all your devices and replace all your remotes and has an Android and iOS app which you can use as a remote controller.
