There are a ton of posts that say "How to Use Your Phone Without a SIM Card". Unfortunately I am having issues. I always get this message "android theres no sim in your phone, so you can only make emergency calls". Any idea why I am getting this message? I just want to use google voice to make calls when I have wifi. Is that not possible?

Have you already tried turning on Airplane Mode? You can always turn wi-fi and Bluetooth back on in Airplane Mode.

I use the Like button for that. Hopefully if an op has a problem, and one answer has a bunch of likes, the op will get the idea.
