How will you feel if Samsung drop the 3.5mm port on the Note 8?

I wouldn't like it, but I'd adapt. I use Samsung BT that I got with my N5. Sometimes I find BT can be sketchy, but maybe it's because my wireless are ancient. I just like having the port if I forget to charge or something. I always rather having and not needing than needing and not having.

Nope, it's not just you. BT can be sketch with the most recent and up to date devices. Wired is definitely always the best option if you can, even if you don't like it. That, and I agree about the charging issue. I need my ports separate, and talk hands-free simultaneously.

My car does not have BT, so for that I would not be happy. And while I do have a pretty decent pair of BT headphones for home use, I much prefer the sound of wired. I also loathe having yet another piece of technology to keep charged :/

Yessssss

After the effort Samsung went to in pointing out that the S8 not only still has a 3.5 mm port, but quality earbuds to go with it, I would be surprised if the AKG earbuds were not part of the Note 8 package.

I'd like it to stay. I always forget to charge my Bluetooth headphones so I'm always grabbing for my wired ones

If it were happening; I'd be ticked off. Dropping a standard port when there is no interchangeable standard to replace it is dumb. You can't use Moto USB-C headphones in a HTC and vice versa.

Forcing "courage" on the consumer is the exact reason I skipped Samsung in 2015 for deleting expandable storage and removable batteries for inferior alternatives.

I haven't made the switch to wireless headphones just yet. I'm still rocking a pair of Bose wired earphones but haven't ditched them so far because of the great sound quality. Maybe it's time to move on.......
I have and use Bose QC35s and they are comfy and sound great. The battery lasts up to 20 hours. Can be used wired as well but they are noise cancelling and just a beauty to wear. I wouldn't go back to wired headphones again.

My good headphones are wired, I use an aux cable in my car, it would annoy me.

However I have 2 phone lines, so, just gotta make sure my 2nd phone has a head phone jack lol.

They sound great, when I need some new earphones may have to invest in them. Thanks!

I bought some recently. I'm ready to send them back to the store. The sound just wasn't as awesome as when I was in the store. I had a better experience with my LG Tones.

As far as music I'm personally not aware of bluetooth headphones that are superior to wired at an anywhere comparable price.
