How's your Gorilla Glass 3 holding up?

I flat out do not like screen protectors. The only screen protector I have ever used was on my Nexus 4 - and that was on the BACK glass. Gorilla Glass 3 is tough. Will it scratch? Yes - if you put it in your pocket with keys and coins and sand! But otherwise, no. If you are worried about shattering the glass because of a drop on a corner of the phone, get a case. Screen protectors are largely a waste, as far as I'm concerned.

I still have the packing film on mine. :p:D

hehe, my OCD made me keep mine on there. For a while, I kept it on while I was deciding whether to keep it or sell it. Then, I thought it looked cool with the Nexus 5 logo.

It does although it drives me nuts when I'm trying to read. :D

I would agree now that I see this. When I first starting searching about this in the early fall, there was no info on it. Too bad, this is what kept me away from the phone, oh well.

I have an iloome Flex glass protector. The first day or two is sketchy because of the coating but eventually it ends up feeling just like the real thing. I like the comfort of knowing that I have a lamination that will take the brunt of a catastrophic accident.

Having said that, it is susceptible to polishing marks, which are visible only when the phone is off. AND, mine came with a scratch right out of the package. Since I wanted to get protection on my phone immediately, I put it on hoping that it wouldn't be visible (it wasn't big, but still...). It was definitely visible when the phone was turned off. So I contacted the company who said that I could request a credit from Amazon but might have to return the protector for "inspection"! They had me first take a picture, which of course was not only almost impossible to focus on a black screen even with my $700 camera, didn't really show much. Not wanting the possibility of having to remove the protector and mailing it back to them and reordering the protector, I decided that this was the last iloome product Is be buying. But I will certainly go the glass protector route in the future.
