How's Your GS6E+ Battery Stats?

Disable hd calling or equivalent for your carrier, it helped my att s6 edge exponentially with the cell standby battery drain issue..I never even see it listed anymore lol

I'm assuming for those of us who use t-mobile. It would be more battery efficient if we stick to WiFi calling. Maybe that will decrease the cell stand by %?? I'm on t-mobile in Miami and LTE Band 12 is pretty consistent everywhere, and mostly everywhere I go I see full bars.

Just for knowledge I charged my phone up to 100% last night before I went to sleep and then unplugged it to see how much juice the battery would lose overnight while still turned on and idle, wifi/Bluetooth/cellular radios on with regular notifications and no power saving mode settings turned on. After almost 8 1/2 hours and having five alarms going off and being snoozed continuously (i sleep deep lol) my battery was at 94% (it flipped to 93% right before I took the snapshot, that's less than 1% of lost battery life an hour while idle, not too bad at all!

And just for kicks here's my current stats three hours later with me perusing emails and the Web along with playing music, looking at a couple of quick news videos and taking a couple of phone calls while heading to my office, phones still on last night's 100% charge and standing at 79% and the usage has moved up to 2% battery life an hour.

Don't want to drop it much lower, but at 11% battery remaining I've gotten over 22 hours since the last full charge with almost 2 hours of telephone talking, 70+ text messages, numerous email alerts/app notifications and over 4 hours screen on time with no power saving mode use and Bluetooth/wifi/cellular radios on, I have no doubt the battery life is solid in this phone!

Do you have Google Now on? Mine lasts about half of what yours does

Yes i have Google now on as well, the biggest thing I've done to the Google services is turn location history off and disable synching of unnecessary stuff I don't use (i.e. Synching of calendars, Google +, photos etc)

No, just when you turn off Location completely. Location History is not needed for the Location Services to work, this is just a Google Service to enable other features. Take a look at this information. Google’s Location History is Still Recording Your Every Move.

On this one will show you how it was until mid April when we had 2 separate options, Location reporting and Location History, before I had location history on but Reporting off as it was besides the Screen, the number 1 battery drainer on Android, and I frankly didn't want to be "reporting" Google all my moves, but now that they incorporated both into just one setting, then I just prefer to turn it off. Check this other link. Understanding Google's Android location tracking | Android Central

Unless I'm doing something wrong, turning this off eliminates location information from photos.

Don't know for sure but I don't use that option so in my case even if that's right, I won't miss it.

Don't worry about the battery on the gs6 plus cause it's a beast I'm getting 30% better battery life then my n4 . I had the regular gs6 edge and it's not even close
