How's your wifi connection on Note 3?

I got that unstable thing yesterday at the gym but the signal was strong and everything was fine so I just ignored it.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

Overall, my WiFi at home seems OK. It has apparently disconnected and reconnected right away a few times though, because I've seen a pop-up message saying it connected. I've also seen an unstable internet connection message, twice I think. Really weird, since the router is right outside my door -- the connection should be strong and stable. The WiFi seems to reconnect right away though, so I'm not terribly concerned about it right now.

I saw that unstable message this morning when I was outside Best Buy (waiting to get my Note 10.1). My phone automatically picked up an AT&T hotspot so I just inferred the message was legit.

My Wifi at home and at Great is Great with My Verizon GNote 3. 4G single is strong at home as well as at work all bars. No Problems so far.

I am having issues where my Facebook and YouTube load very slow when connected to wifi. When I turn wifi off LTE kicks in and loads it with no problem.. My Internet connection is at 50mbps so shouldn't be any lag or loading.

Wifi is very poor on my Note 3. We are migrating from a 4 iPhone family to all Samsung but still have 2 iPhones to go. Both iPhones work without issue even outside the house. The Notes lose connection continually, disconnect, reconnect, do not connect and message says not in range and message saying unstable or something of that nature. Definitely a deal breaker and the phones must go back before 30 days. Not getting stuck with a possible hardware problem. Looks like iPhone 5 for now.

As much as I hate to admit it there does appear to be some things Samsung need to address with the Note 3 but no deal breakers.

Since I turned those 2 options off I've had no issues. I'd notice issues with wifi instantly because I use WiFi calling at home for cell reception.. So my text messages and phone calls wouldn't work if the wifi was acting up.

When you first switched the phone on did it do a software update? If it did don't forget to do a factory reset.

Mine never did. I even checked and didn't get an update. I am on T-Mobile.

If the apparent wi-fi issues are not fixed, it will be a deal-breaker for many people, I think (including me, sadly because I really want this phone)

update:
Swapped my phone. Still having the wifi problem. So unless I got 2 bad ones I'm thinking this has to be a software issue. Tried changing wireless security settings. WPA2, WPA, and WEP all have the same problem. I have unchecked always allow scanning, auto network switch, and auto connect. Also turned off wifi power save mode. Still no luck. So unless they fix this quick, I'm returning the phone before 30 days and going back to the iphone

I have the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 and I have no issues connecting to wifi and it is stable and extremely fast. Hasn't disconnected once. I also have a new Netgear R6300 which is an AC1750 router. I am getting 58 down and 11.90 up over wifi. I need to go out and try to connect to other networks to see if there is an issue then. I also haven't change any settings. Going out today and will report back.

Mine still won't hold a stable connection at work, and I'm giving serious thought to returning it due to this issue. I'm also not yet comfortable with such a huge device, and I really think the S4 might be a better choice for me. I hate to give up all the wonderful hardware specs (other than the wifi ones, obv). Sigh.

I don't know if someone already posted this but for at&t I was having the exact same issue so all I did was disable the at&t smart wifi app...problem solved. Have not had one problem since..my note 3 now connects to Wifi hotspots automatically whenever in range and never drops signals anymore..hope this helps.

I haven't had wifi issues. I might suggest that you use 2.4ghz if you are far from the router and set the router to wifi n only (assuming that all devices are n, else select g is fine). I noticed that when I did that, wifi worked better. Wifi 5ghz has a much shorter range. Sometimes my phone would want to connect to 5ghz when far away. I use separate said for 2.4 and 5hz, so I can switch when needed but honestly 2.4 works fine for basic Internet.

It appears that the note 3 has problems staying connected to wifi networks that require browser based login, like Starbucks or hotels. I have no problem on my home wifi, the hotel I work at is another story. The longest I've stayed connected there is 3 mins. I'm using the tmobile note 3 btw
