HTC 10 and AT&T

Had a little issue, had to go to the AT&T store to get them to finagle it. But its working. Not sure I like Sense 8 yet. The phone is rather warm, but its doing a lot of updating. I could not get it to connect to the AT&T network, and then could not get my contacts moved over. Finally managed it with the wonderful HTC Transfer tool. Not sure if I have voicemail or not.

What was the issue, so we can keep an eye out for it? :-)

The phone would not connect to their network even after repeated reboots. Not sure what was going on, it might very well be user error on my part. Its working now. The AT&T rep didn't even blink when I told her it was an unlocked phone from HTC, she just got to work on it.

I guess I need to update my imei because mine isn't working with sim from 6s+. Will update and report back.

Ok it's not working for me. They have my imei in their system. On with them now--probably a waste of my time.

Re: HTC 10 and AT&T

Thanks. No luck after spending over an hour with tech support. Frustrating. I guess I'll get a new sim to see if that helps.
I just got a new sim and no advanced services. LTE works fine, but drops to 4G when making a call. Works fine on other phones and in my area.

That is strange. Take it in to a store, a Best Buy if you have one close, they are usually pretty decent. If not then an AT&T store.

Yeah I did that. It's provisioned properly allegedly. Best Buy has no clue and told me to buy a pre paid AT&T go phone. Spent more than an hour on with tech support and nothing.

On my AT&T branded M9, you have to enable 'Enhanced 4G LTE services' in mobile data settings in order to have HD Voice.

Don't have that on the 10...first thing I looked for. It only has data roaming, preferred network and gsm/umts options. Also not under the call settings.

That has always been the case.

The 10 was supposed to work with enhanced calling and some are claiming it works for them, but it definitely isn't for me. On again with AT&T tier 2. Def won't keep the 10 if I can't use volte.

there are sone Saying that it dose and says that there is a setting that you need to check.

It's there in call settings. Working for me. Callers say I sound like a landline phone and vice versa.

It's all the way at the bottom of the settings... Enhanced call service>Voice over LTE
