HTC 10 transparent bubble on side of screen, how can I get rid of it?

HTC 10 transparent bubble on side of screen

HTC 10 6.0.1 MARSHMALLOW. Recently noticed a small transparent half circle bubble against the side of the screen (portrait) and becomes a full bubble in landscape mode. Doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas on what it is or how to get rid if it. Cheers

That could be a bad screen. This is why I usually wait about a month before I buy phones and give them time to work out Manufacturing defects. Though there's always a 20% chance side effects going through the line. Is it on every screen meaning is it on every home screen.
