HTC 626 screen easily crack

I bought a HTC 626 only like 2 weeks ago. I was heading home the other day I checked my phone before I left. Perfectly fine right? So put it in my pocket (no pressure was applied to it. I had quite loose pants on. Not gangster loose but anyway) as I got back home I checked my phone again. It had a massive crack in it and the top half of the screen wasn't working. Today I dropped it onto my bed (mind you my mattress has a pillow top) and the bottom half had a bigger crack and now the whole phone isn’t working. To get it replaced costs way more then the actual phone
Okay so has anyone else had this problem with their screens?
Also is it me or HTC are getting quite sloppy with their newer phones?

Have you contacted HTC customer support? They may replace the phone if they judge it to have been defective.

For your other points, I recommend joining as a member if you want to talk HTC with other owners.
