HTC A9 - GPS conflicts

[AC Question]

I've had my A9 since early December 2015, and my GPS seems flaky. It works fine for Google maps and Waze, but doesn't track properly at all for any fitness apps.
Wonder if anyone else has experienced this?

Hopefully everything is working better now. But do you think it's an app specific issue?
