After a quick search I couldn't figure this out. Is there a way to share your google calendar events with someone else (I know you can select the option to sync new events to your google calendar)?

For example: I want to add a concert to my google calendar then share the event with my friend so they'll also have the date, time and location in their google calendar. Both of us are using android devices if that matters.

Not from the widget itself, but the calendar app...

If you dont have Exchange, you can send a vCalendar file via sms to the contact you want to share the event with. They can download the vCal file and thus add the event to their calendar.

Go to your event on the calendar, menu/share, then choose Message and send away.

or you could sync google calendar to your device and invite people that way...
