So I just picked up the HTC car kit for the Evo, its pretty nice, solidly built. Only one issue I have so far with it. When docked to the car kit, all my audio decreases in max volume for some reason.
IE playing music through the headphone jack to aux input of stereo, I always have media volume maxed, and as soon as I dock the phone it goes down a few dB's, even though the media volume is maxed out.
Same with BT speakerphone, the volume drops there as well whilst still maxed out.
Only thing Ive come up with is that Im rooted with BS 1.9, I know he tweaks the volume levels to increase output, I wonder if those settings arent applied to the mode where its docked?
