I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. Having the phone for 2 years, the problem started few weeks ago. Searching the internet I find temporary solutions like, restarting the phone, or turning airplane mode on/off. Is there a permanent solution for this problem?

about carrier connection. it loses network. and restarts by it own from time to time. there were no significant changes, so I don't understand why this is happening. as I was reading on the internet this is a very common problem with htc devices.
the phone was formatted, but I'm still having the same issue.

Did you get the phone directly from your carrier, or did you get it unlocked? If the latter, what's the exact model of your phone, and which carrier do you have?

Yes, I was talking about factory reset. And I haven't tried the safe mode. Is there something more you can tell me? What do you think the problem might be?

The main reason to try Safe Mode is to narrow the problem down to either something you installed or something with the firmware or hardware. If the problem goes away in Safe Mode, then something you installed is probably interfering -- but it can be hard to further pinpoint the culprit after that, apart from uninstalling apps one by one until the problem goes away.

If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely an issue with the firmware or hardware. You could consider reinstalling the firmware, but with HTC devices, that may require rooting.

:/ the problem is I haven't installed anything new since the moment I bought the phone. It has the same apps it had back then. And I would sincerely try to avoid rooting. Anyway, thanks a lot. :)

You haven't installed any apps in 2 years? That's relatively unusual, given the average user's habits. In any case, there's no harm in trying Safe Mode, and if you notice that you still lose connection, then it's likely to be an issue with the hardware or the firmware.

If forgot to ask before -- have you considered trying a replacement SIM card?

I thought you might find it weird :) but I don't that phone as much. And yes, I went to my carrier first, since I thought it was a sim problem. And they said the sim was working just fine and didn't change it.
