I bought this att phone last week. I had my SIM card cut down to fit. I use family mobile service on it. Why can't I download/send group messages/pictures? Please help and thank you.

Check the APN settings against those of your carrier or nework operator. All of that is internet access, and the phone needs the correct APN data to connect to the internet.
