Oh I will keep the Droid even if i get the incredible. The Droid will continue to be a toy

ha, went and had round 2 with the Incredible today. Played around with it for about an hour this time. I had a couple of the reps impressed at how well Sense ran on the Droid. Both were fast and smooth. The only real difference other than weight is the camera, and even though the camera is damn good on the Incredible, I'm having a hard time talking myself into dumping the $200 on it just for native SenseUI and a better camera.

Im contemplating boxing my Inc back up and sending it back. I have used it for a little over 24 hrs and still cant justify dropping $200 on it. It doesn't feel like a true upgrade to me. Now throw in a 4.3 in screen and we got a deal.

Back to my Droid (we connected from first glance outta tha box)

After 24 hours of playing with the Incredible there is now way this is going back. The size factor is huge for me, the Droid was just to heavy and thick to have in my pocket. And my wife was bugging me for a GPS so instead of buying one I just upgraded her account and gave her my Droid.

You guys suck haha. I guess ill be one of the few brave Droid owners standing strong. I just can't justify paying full price for a phone that isn't significantly better than my current phone especially when I know there will be better phones out when I can earlyupgrade in November. I'll wait this one out.

I may wait until Nov I'm not convinced to but one yet I will keep the Droid but if the evo it similar were to make its way to Verizon I'm gone Droid but until then I just don't know if I want to upgrade because like bit says I need a clear advantage right now I see some benefits but not 200 worth
And is it sounds like I'm playing both sides its because your seeing how unsure I am about this upgrade

I will stand strong on the Droid no intention of buying the Incredible. I do like sense UI and I jsut dual boot if I need the GPS and 3G.

Apparently the Droid 2 is coming out in June. It's a rumor but it seems like it could be true. If that happens then idk what I'm going to do. The 4.3 inch screen with a qwerty keyboard and 1 ghz processor might sell me haha.

On a side note, seeing as how the has not been any new news about Zeus Droid recently. Does anybody have any inside knowledge about when this surprise will be announced? I know they said the weekend but is it planned for tomorrow or Saturday ? And is there a good chance it is that the ril is finished?

Bizznot you too. First DA now you. This is gonna be a ghost town haha. Somebody I work with got the incredible and it was faster but idk, it lacked some aesthetic. It just isn't the Droid. I like sense but I only want it if I'm able to dualboot. I'm hoping Verizon gets the next nexus 2 this way we don't have to wait for updates like we do with the Droid. That would make my day.

I'm here. I check in all the time. The Incredible forum is just big and needs cleaning up.

Screw the Droid 2 the shadow looks to be the beast and launch before the Droid 2 that'd what I want got to stay in the fam
Oh and BTW the Droid 2 is on the front page the shadow doesn't have a keyboard or atleast that's what some people in the know are saying

this may be a stupid question...but...what does dual booting mean?

it means being able to turn your phone on and have an option to use 2 rom for example if you could pick running sense or stock android.

ya but the shadow is going to att. so unless your signing up for a contract with them, your stuck with the droid 2 as an option haha

Nope the shadow is cdma just like the Droid 2 though I have no doubt their will be a gsm version. And its been rumored to launch summer time

The ril is broken so it knows were using a cdma network but doesn't know whose network hopefully next release that will be fixed but its been so quiet with no updates on what's going on makes me wonder if their almost done or a huge setback

I'm really getting fed up with the Zeus Droid team's BS lately. so they say that they have a surprise for this past weekend and towards the end of yesterday when people ask about it what do they do? they delete the posts that they posted talking about a surprise and them Rainaba acts ignorant as if nothing was stated about it. I know they are doing it as a project and its on a donation base but they need to stop talking out of their A$$es and giving people false hope. this is getting ridiculous, its like they see when it is getting slow and losing interest and then they throw in some vague piece of info which makes it seem like a possible soon release. they need to stop BSing us and just tell everybody when it finished
