It depends on the release. I use clockwork but I flash it with spr. The flash clockwork and back it up with that. The two formats aren't compatible

Ok, i'll use clockwork to flash SPR, and then ClockworkMod to flash Clockwork. It's handy .

So the final version is not out yet? I assume you are still playing around with Alpha releases, bizz.

Also, do you need to OC for this thing to work correctly (aka without lag)?

yes you need it to run at 1ghz with a partitioned sdcard so if you want to run this head over here. [Solved] Auto partitioning script for ZeusDroid Desire X2 . partition your sdcard with this tool even if you used rom manager. use this so you will have the correct linux swap. and using this tool will not wipe your sdcard so you shouldnt need to back it up

Seems easy, but I never understood adb shell. I know i'm behind the times, but never though I would have to use it. I assume it's something I should download for my computer? Does anyone have a link for it that explains?

Edit: or i'll wait for a version that doesn't require adb, if something like that is in the works.

you can also download paragon to partition your sdcard. just google it download it. if you need help with it send me a pm. here is the full guide on how to set up the adb and swap. you wont need the droidswap apk for this rom.

i can almost bet their wont be a version that will run right without a partitioned sdcard. and if you use droidswap with a swap file on your sdcard it causes more issues with mounting your sdcard. partitoned is the safest and fastest way to run this rom

Edit: could you post the link to the ZeusDroid rom you are using? I know it's on alldroid, but not sure which one (looked like there were 2-3 versions to me)

ok now this needs to be run at 1ghz? what about cpu temp or battery temp, do they get warmer faster? also what would happen if you didn't have it that high and instead set it to 800 mghz

well theirs a new kernel thats comming dont know about temps mine are about average. but ive run it at 750 it wasnt that bad but i could tell the difference. and with the kernel it maxes at 1ghz but rarely runs that high

Jake is still working on the RIL, hes got everything working, its just not fully stable yet. hes taking a break for a little bit, dont hound him, or us, and it will be ready, when its ready. your alternative is to make your own ril, or sit by patiently, and wait for Jake to work his magic.

If x3 is the same speed ad the test rom. Put out tonight it will amaze you guys 1 ghz but super fast expect x3 tomorrow around noon don't know if it will have the stable ril. But will have a working one.

The waiting game haha.

I just realized something. Seeing as most of you are ex storm users, this is the only rom that android users want that emulates another device's theme. I remember everybody wanted sence, windows, Mac,touch flow 3d etc. I think this device and OS will last the test of time. But then again time will tell.

I think it's gonna be cool, I'm an ex Eris user so I've played with it before. However, for good measure I'm gonna wait for awhile before just jumping on the release.

Ok, for final questions (I know, i'm a pain) - I will partition my SD card using paragon or the other method bizz mentioned earlier, and then I flash 99.3b, and then I can install this using nandroid?
