HTC EVO 3D: Issues and Problems...let's talk about them here!

i have both apps of gmail and htc mail (i think thats what it is) linked to one google account. Of course the gmail app gets mail pushed and the other mail app takes 5 minutes from what i set it too, which sucks but i like that it shows how many emails i received... My problem is that i sent emails, one by one from hotmail and yahoo and even google on my pc every 10 mins or so to figure out why>, and gmail would show one email, while the other app constantly shows 3 emails of the same kind, is there anyway i can fix that..

I have both apps with same gmail account on both. I myself shut off all notification front the gmail app just use it to go to folders if i have to.

Garrett, consider yourself thanked multiple times in the most vociferous terms! I looked at the same place on my 4G and that field isn't checked at all, yet that screen never goes off when it's plugged in. In any event, now the 3D is acting like the 4G in that respect and my sanity is restored. Thank you!

Are there any negative affects to leaving the screen on while charging?
burn in, reducing the life of the screen, ect?

I'm receiving texts, but am not sending them even though it is acting like it is. I rebooted and same thing.

Update: I updated my PRL and it started working again.

I'm not sure if anyone has post this issue or not, but I just noticed something. When I have the ringer up all the way and place a call, when I hang up, I noticed that the ringer volume is set very low about 25-30%. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thanks.

Anyone tried using the Picasa option of accessing pictures in the Gallery?

My gallery snyc'd one time and then it won't sync anymore (even though the "sync" box is checked). Doesn't add new albums. If I try to access an Album that has been updated (after the initial sync) it will go to a screen that flashes between a black screen and the "Loading Picasa Web Album" screen.

Any fix for this or are others having the same problem?

holy crap, I thought I was going crazy... it's doing that for me too. Nexus S's in the family work perfectly fine.

One thing bugging me is that when I am on the lock screen, the weather numbers don't display right. Where I am at in Arizona is triple digits and only shows the last two. Any ideas?

OK here is one I just found.

When i take a picture the review pic comes up with the options on the right hand side to, SHARE, DELETE, etc....

But when I go to either delete or share the pic i just took nothing happens. I press the icon but it wont delet or share the pic.

Anyone else?

Anyone using Google Music on their EVO3D? If you sync your music to your phone.. pick any album, whatever... can you see your downloaded album in the stock Music player?

I am unable to save email attachments in the stock email app. I have been sent a jpeg and after its done downloading, when I long press, nothing happens.

with the og evo, I could long press on an attachment and the option to "save to sd card" was there.. i dont see it anymore

ideas?

They actually save to a folder on your SD card called "downloads" or "download" (dont remember which). I still wish you could save as, but at least the file does download. Just push the attachment once, though, not a long press, and you will see it download.

Several people have mentioned it but I don't think a resolution has been offered.
