With the EXACT same specs I would rather ...

Oh I changed my mind. I go for no 3D. This is NOT a optional. Some of you prefer 3D, it's only optional. :) Yay!!

I believe its slated for the korean market but I thought that the " EVO " branding was a Sprint trademark.
Actually I would assume not, because in Japan the Supersonic is called the Evo Wimax, and is not on Sprint.

Are you kidding me?!

The Evo 3D killlls this phone. It has everything AND 3D as an added feature. Why would you want less???

The 8mp camera? I didnt know so many of you were printing canvases of your cell phone pics...... /s

I guess people still don't understand what the difference is between the 8 and 5mp camera. Pretty funny really. If i made a phone I'd put a 22 mp camera on it and everyone would buy it because they think it would be far superior. LOL.

I know, people act like they go beyond posting pics on flickr, twitter, facebook and other net sites from their phones.

Calm down.

Even if you DO print these out, the Evo 3D takes very good pictures, even better than the Evo 4G pictures.

I'd take the 4G+ if the picture and video quality is slightly better than the E3D.

Would be nice to see picture and video comparisons between the two phones.

I will be getting the Evo+ without a doubt if it gets released in the US. By then my upgrade will probably be available, and I have no want/use/desire to have 3D.

I'd probably stick with the Evo 3D. You can choose to not use the 3d functions, megapixel count isn't everything in a camera, & I think HTC/Sprint will release an update to allow 1080p recording (or someone will make a ROM for it).

Although the EVO+ looks better, I'm gonna burst everyone's bubble again. It's NEVER coming to America and so is not an option.

The 4g Plus is only in Korea I know.. I am in Korea and I have one, its a really nice phone.. It is not 3D, btw I wouldn't get a 3d phone after seeing my Nintendo 3DS, go through batterys like it does using 3D. I don't know if the phone is the same way or not. Ether way I like the 4g plus since here we actually have really fantastic 4g coverage...

Agreed. If it weren't for the name one would never know the 3D aspect even exists on this device. It is not a part of the UI. Unless you are actually using the 3D your battery life is not affected by it.

I agree with those that said the difference in megapixel count doesn't amount to much. Case in point, compare the Epic 4G (5 MP) camera to the Evo 4G (8 MP) camera.

Prior to actually purchasing an Evo 3D I pretty much felt that the 3D was gimmicky at best, but now that I've owned the device for about 6 weeks now, I feel that it's not a gimmick, BUT there is limited usefulness of the 3D feature.

I would have to compare the 2D picture quality from the two and determine whether or not I could see an improvement in the 4G+'s picture quality. As it stands now, I don't think there would be that big of a difference. I imagine this 4G+ to be an Evo 3D with the Evo 4G's camera, and while there are perceivable differences, it's not so much so that it's a game-changer, so to speak.

So, to answer the OP's question, I agree with those that said the Evo 3D represents everything the 4G+ is/does PLUS adds 3D capability to the phone. It's one extra feature.

I have to agree. I was one of those who said the 3d was a gimmick and something I wouldn't use. But to be honest I love this phone more than the original evo. I'm not using the camera for digital photography. I'm simply using the camera whether in 2d or 3d for everyday pics to upload to facebook, and my pc. As a side note u can take a picture in 3d and u can convert it to 2d its not like ur stuck with only a 3d pic. I'm a very satisfied owner of a EVO 3D and love this phone.

Id go with regular. Ive tried the 3d out & it just hurts my eyes & gave me a headache. The only reason id get the phone is because of the dual core & 1gb ram.
