HTC EVO 4G LTE: Help! Stuck in constant roaming mode

For some unknown reason my ltevo is in a constant state of roaming. Barely receive any of my calls and txts come in hours/days late. Never had any problems like this need help quick. Have tried updating profile and prl. Neither gave helped and my phone isn't rooted.

What if you try to set your roaming mode to "Sprint Only"? To you get any signal?

Are you just in one location? Did you try calling Sprint to see if towers might be down?

Try going to Airplane mode for 5 minutes then come back out.

Yeah that's the weird thing ill get a signal but the calls and txts still won't come through. I can make calls just fine and usually when I make a call it triggers a bunch of incoming txts that had been delayed. My data works fine its just the cell signal. I've tried everything I can think of other than wiping the phone which I really don't wanna do. My wife has sprint too and hers has been working fine.

It's a long shot, but who knows what's going on. Call forwarding seems unlikely, but try turning it off just the same.

But if you go into "Sprint Only" and you can still make calls you are not roaming. Sounds like a trip to a sprint store is in order.

I wish my phone would stay in roaming. I never have service and it never stays connected when roaming and bounces back and forth. Lol.

Just left the sprint store. They did a "cell update" which they said they couldn't tell me how to do. Long story short my phone is working fine now. the guy said he's been seeing a lot of that lately.
