HTC EVO4G Update

Yesterday was notified of available update for my device,Android noobie here,anyway installed it and now my htc sense wallpaper clock not auto updating,only when i go to homescreen the time will update.All syncs and data are enabled,and i use no ATK's...Also Im now noticing when I go to manage apps,the usual battery hog Android system app doesnt even seem to be running now,No data/cache to clear,Nothing..Any advice before i have to go to sprint store.Thanx. intrance454@aol.com
