Well, I just got off of chat with technical support and was told that the push is now on hold indefinitely due to a security problem. Anybody else hearing this? I had called Tuesday and was told that it was pushed to me but it never showed up so I contacted chat again. Here is the main part of the chat session:

Kellye: I'm not sure why the push didn't go through. I have restarted the phone repeatedly and then checked for it.

Wallena Dunlap: Thank you for verifying.
Kellye: You're welcome.
Wallena Dunlap: I would like to advise you that this push for third party applications is not available.
Kellye: Why is that?
Kellye: It has been pushed out to customers since May 16.
Wallena Dunlap: AT&T is not pushing the update because of some security issues that we would like to avoid. Until the security is updated then AT&T will be able to perform the Over the Air updates in our systems,.
Wallena Dunlap: I apologize about the inconvenience.
Wallena Dunlap: At this time, we do not have an estimated time of the release on the update, but AT&T will notify customers once the update is available.
Wallena Dunlap: Is there anything else that I can assist with?Once again, if anyone else is told differently or given an ETA I would like to know. I didn't point out how little faith I have that we will be notified when the pushes start again seeing as how there has been no communication so far.
