I have always liked HTC the best. I've had every new release going back to the Evo series. For me Sense is better than stock Android. More flexibility in the settings. One example is recent apps. With Sense you can clear them all with one click. Many others also. I'm disappointed in the M9. The side bezels are still too large. The black bar at the bottom is still there. I don't buy it that the bar is because of the speaker. The top speaker doesn't have it and the speakers sound the same. Just disappointed.

The bottom line for me is the dork speakers and black bar. When I'm LOOKING at the phone I'm getting visual input. If all I see is a black bar and giant speaker grilles then I'm getting less of what I am doing. I'm not that interested in sound, if I want to listen to quality audio from my music I'll turn on my Marantz/Klipsch equipment and and rock the house. If I'm not home then devices over or in the ear will do the job.

Front firing speakers is the way to go and I applaud HTC for pushing that aspect, put there's a point of diminishing returns for me. In fact if LG doesn't come up with front firing speakers for their G4 then that one is off the table too. I'm getting less and less reasons to can my GS3.
