HTC M8 isnt recognised by HTC Sync Manager

Hi,
I've just installed the latest Sync Manager and now it wont recognise my HTC M8 at all. I have tried restarting both devices, with no avail.
Please help.

Try uninstalling all the HTC software and drivers and then reinstalling everything.
